Sam Atkins has been the Principal Inspector Organisational Psychology at SafeWork SA since February 2024.  She is a Registered Psychologist with 27 years of experience relevant to workplace psychosocial health and safety, mostly in the Army and wider Defence industry. Her experience includes enterprise level workplace culture, climate and behaviour research, occupational analysis, military human factors, pre-employment psychological screening and psychological support for workers in high-risk occupations, and psychosocial risk management.  She was also a policy advisor in relation to aged care workforce issues with the Aged Care Royal Commission.
