Having joined SafeWork SA two years ago, Michael Paterson is the Team Leader – Mining, coordinating the Work Health and Safety Regulator’s activities in the mining and quarrying sector across South Australia. Michael is also a ministerial appointee to the Mining And Quarrying Occupational Health and Safety Committee (MAQOHSC) He comes from a heavy industry, mine maintenance, and explosives handling background with over 20 years experience in the field.
