With 30 years of experience, Jason Sharam has built a career from an electrical fitter/mechanic to the Resource Innovation & Partnerships Manager at the Resources Centre of Excellence (RCOE). A significant accomplishment is co-founding Linked Group Services with Peter Shaw in 2010. This company provides trade services across multiple sectors and manufactures renewable energy products. Jason's extensive background also includes over a decade of hands-on experience in the Bowen Basin's coal fields, where he provided both electrical and mechanical services and managed small to medium-sized projects. Growing up on a farm, Jason developed a deep motivation for innovation. As a fully Licensed Electrician, accredited CEC Solar Designer and Installer, and holding a Diploma in Management, he is committed to finding sustainable and cost-effective solutions for industries that surpass current offerings. He is passionate about renewables and resources, and he actively promotes pathways toward a diversified, sustainable, and prosperous energy and resources sector within the Mackay, Isaac, and Whitsunday region.
