The Future of Welder Training: Augmented Reality

Test your hand at welding on the WELD Australia stand that will feature the latest augmented reality welding system. This safe and realistic system creates a safe and interactive training environment. Weld Australia (formerly known as WTIA) represents the welding profession in Australia. Our members are made up of individual welding professionals and companies of all sizes. Their primary goal is to ensure that the Australian welding industry remains both locally and globally competitive, both now and into the future. Weld Australia is dedicated to providing their members with a competitive advantage through access to industry, research, education, certification, government, and the wider industrial community.

Test your skills with Weld Australia on stand T215.

Does your current lubricant utilise XPL+ technology? Heat causes conventional lubricants to migrate away from where they are needed most, the source of friction. However, because of the transposition of electrons when two surfaces rub together, the positively charged molecular structure of XPL+ lubricants migrate towards the source of friction. The result being a lubricant which penetrates into where it is needed and 100% blocks out contaminants and water. With a reduction in heat and friction users of XPL+ lubricants can expect a:

• 5 to 15% reduction in fuel usages • 400% increase in bearing life • 50 to 70% decrease in sump oil wear metals • reduction in energy usage • decreased moisture and corrosion problems • lower equipment operating temperatures • greater production up time • reduction in exhaust pollution

Head over to stand F149 to see Sustainable Industries Pty Ltd provide a live demonstration of a friction test on their lubricant products.

If you are looking for great adhesive products, head over to Henkel Australia's stand to see adhesive usages in various repair and maintenance applications such as thread locking, thread sealing and concrete repairs. The Loctite 243 threadlocker is a general purpose threadlocker of medium bond strength. This threadlocker secures and seal bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to vibration. The product works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces. It is proven to be tolerant of minor contamination due to industrial oils, e.g. motor oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids. Some benefits of using the Loctite 243 threadlocker includes:

 • Prevents loosening on vibrating assemblies, e.g. pumps, gear boxes or presses • Works on all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces) • Proven to tolerate minor contamination by industrial oils, e.g. motor oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluids • Permits disassembly with hand tools for servicing

Henkel Australia will be providing three 20 minute sessions for each day of AIMEX. Make sure you visit stand C116 to see the live demo.

Reactore's flagship product, MineOne, is a comprehensive digital transformation platform, designed specifically for the mining industry, to digitalise end-to-end mining operations for planning, scheduling and monitoring in real-time all mining activities and resources. MineOne integrates with multiple source systems including ERPs, expert systems, devices, safety systems and includes a mobility platform, ready to use applications coupled with 3D visualisation and analytics tools, mine control dashboards and core modules that link operations planning with production tracking and resource allocation for real time, pit to port, operational management.

Visit Reactore Solutions stand H140 to see their presentation of their MineOne software for operations planning, scheduling and tracking in real time.
