Most opencut mining operations use truck shovel fleets to move overburden and ore. Optimising the fleet output relies on optimising the filling of the trucks – achieving the highest possible truck loads consistently with the least number of passes. At the same time, the trucks have well defined overload criteria.  LC’s Titan production monitor uses sophisticated electronics and transducers to weigh each bucket before it is dumped in the truck, and immediately forecasts what remaining bucket loads are recommended to achieve the most efficient filling for the truck. Find out more at this session.
