THE FUTURER OF WELDER TRAINING: AUGMENTED REALITY
AIMEX 2019 attendees were able to test their hand at welding on the WELD Australia stand that will feature the latest augmented reality welding system. This safe and realistic system creates a safe and interactive training environment. Weld Australia (formerly known as WTIA) represents the welding profession in Australia. Their members are made up of individual welding professionals and companies of all sizes. Their primary goal is to ensure that the Australian welding industry remains both locally and globally competitive, both now and into the future. Weld Australia is dedicated to providing their members with a competitive advantage through access to industry, research, education, certification, government, and the wider industrial community.

Henkel Australia provided three 20 minute session demonstrations of their Loctite 243 threadlocker over the three days of AIMEX 2019.
Reactore Solutions demonstrated a presentation of their MineOne Software for operations planning, scheduling and tracking in real time.
Sustainable Industries Pty Ltd provided a live demonstration of a friction test on their lubricant products.
