Asia-Pacific’s Mining Exhibition is Australia’s longest running mining expo which showcases the latest mining technology, equipment and services. It offers a unique opportunity for leading suppliers and buyers to conduct face-to-face business, stay abreast of the latest trends and network in an interactive forum.
The show is an internationally renowned platform offering numerous networking opportunities, a free-to-attend conference, and presentations covering the latest technology advances and innovation across the mining value chain.
The evolution of AIMEX is reflective of the transformation in the mining industry with the Transformative Technology Pavilion and Decarbonisation Pavilion.
AIMEX attracts more than 5,000 visitors, with key visitor profiles being senior management (16 per cent), engineers (20 per cent) and site personnel (11 per cent).
The majority of exhibitors are from Australia, followed by China, Singapore, Germany, India, Taiwan, Korea, the UK and France.
As Australia’s longest-running mining show, AIMEX is known as the country’s flagship mining event. It has grown over the years to attract a wider Asia Pacific audience, who welcome the opportunity to connect with regional mining companies and suppliers.
Asia-Pacific's International Mining Exhibition will bring together an excited line-up of features including:
- World class conference: A free to attend conference developed in partnership with the team at Australian Mining that addresses the topics shaping the future of the industry.
- Feature pavilions: Meet the change makers and leaders across core pavilions including a dedicated mining pavilion – sponsored by BHP – and a designated university pavilion.
- Transformative Technology: The uptake of technology continues to accelerate, and the Transformative Technology will showcase the latest in cutting edge technology and the digital solutions driving the transformation of the industry.
- Networking lounges: Appointed locations across the exhibition floor where delegates can conduct meetings, connect with each other and cultivate professional relationships.
- Decarbonisation Showcase: In line with industry trends towards electrification and decarbonisation, the show will offer a special highlight section of the latest technology making waves in this space.
- Welcome and Networking Drinks: Welcome Drinks are Proudly sponsored by Motion, and are taking place as an offsite event on 22 September. Register to attend during ticketing. Networking Drinks are sponsored by Tricab and run at the conclusion of the first day of AIMEX. Networking opportunities are a chance for delegates to build relationships with potential clients and peers, exchange knowledge and connect with industry and the community.
The resources industry is constantly evolving, and relocating Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition (AIMEX) to Adelaide symbolises the shift in Australia’s mining landscape, especially as the industry strides towards a decarbonised, greener future.
Key mining stakeholders have been vocal about the need for a major mining event in South Australia to align with the growth of the state’s resources industry and the ramp-up in decarbonisation and creation of sustainable supply chains.
The move to South Australia represents an exciting new phase in the resources sector, as the state rapidly makes a name for itself as a key jurisdiction for the critical minerals essential to the world’s energy transition, including copper, uranium, graphite and zircon.
As South Australia expands its mining and exploration industry, the state is also driving the investigation of new solutions for decarbonised steelmaking, while its extensive renewable energy network and significant investment in hydrogen to power green steel distinguish it from other markets.
AIMEX is free to attend for the exhibition, conference and networking drinks, but attendees are encouraged to register for their tickets early to avoid the line, and must preregister to attend the drinks events.
Tickets for the Australian Mining Prospect Awards start at $330, with discounts available for larger tables.
Stands for AIMEX are predicted to sell out, and are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Anyone interested in exhibiting is encouraged to secure their place early to ensure the best position. Contact our sales team to secure your positions.
