Hetronic Australia will unveil a new range of IEC-approved radio remote controls for drill rigs and mining equipment working in hazardous, zone 1 and 2 explosive areas on Stand 5025 during AIMEX – Asia-Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition 2011, to be held at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush, from September 6-9.
The range is said to incorporate innovative technology that raises the bar for safety and efficiency in mining and drilling equipment operations.
"The transmitter controllers offer the largest selection of joysticks on the market and include innovative features like tilt sensors, memory keys and real-time feedback, providing smooth and instant response," Hetronic director Paul Warren said.
Receiver interfaces include the space-saving Canbus, Profibus and RS232 as well as Ex d housings.
Hetronic Australia’s new manufacturing and service facility at Beresfield, NSW, provided design solutions for all remote control applications that were widely used by mining and industry sectors, Warren said.
"The new development is in line with our goal of providing safe, reliable and affordable radio remote controls using cutting edge technology."
