Steve Pryor - Director, with over 20 years of Conveyor Belt Fastener sales experience. Steve with the help of his colleagues at MLT France have developed a "NEW UNDERGROUND BELT FASTENER" which will be launched at AIMEX. Engineer's requests were for a fastener that was friendlier with Belt Cleaners and Idlers,was quick and easy to install with a lightweight tool.The tradionally designed belt fastener has staples going through the belt and bending over on outside of fastener. MLT now have an unique design that does not expose the staple to harse treatment from cleaners and rollers because the staple is concealled on the inside of the fastener securing it into the belt with a never been seen design - a must see at AIMEX.
Also at AIMEX will be the popular Rubber joiner SUPER SCREW. A unique combination of Steel and Rubber Belt joiner with high abrasive and high temperature qualities (up to 200C) No experience needed to install the SUPER SCREW using only a Cordless Screwdriver.
Can be installed in all weather conditions,in tight unaccessable areas. Belt can be started straight away! Why spend big dollars getting a vulcanised join done when you can do it yourself for half the cost!
Also on our stand will be the AERISON BELT LIFTER. There is a fixed unit that simply bolts on to stringers in place of existing frame. Can lift a fully loaded belt to a capacity of 5 tonnes using a 24V portable hydraulic system or can be used with a mechanical screw jack system. Change numerous idlers/rollers even with belt loaded.
A Portable Carbon Fibre unit is another option. This system can be lifted using either our portable hydraulic pack or a screw jack system. This system is strong and lightweight - well under 20kg.
