RUS Mining Services
RUS Mining Services is the new identity of a long and established Australian Mining contracting company now equipped with strengthened management and ownership team, resources and capabilities. RUS Mining is the result of a management buyout and new partner coming onboard to take over the former business of Resco Underground Services. Overall the new company employs 350 people at various sites in NSW and QLD. The company has offices in Lake Macquarie, Wollongong, Mackay and Emerald. RUS Mining's new structure allows it to provide a significantly expanded scope of underground services and products including: Drift and Coal Development, Comprehensive Outbye Services, Secondary Support Installation, Spiling for Fall and Equipment Recovery, Equipment Rebuilds, Strata Injection, Equipment Hire and Sales and Ventilation Seals. RUS Mining has now expanded beyond its traditional contracting in providing a new range of underground mining equipment and consumables, including a new man transporter, mobile drill rig and road header, all scheduled for release in late 2011.
