Saimo Technology (established 1993) commenced operations as an Engineering Company dedicated to servicing the local mining industry in China. In the same year, Ramsey USA approached Saimo Technology with a view to establishing a joint venture in China. The joint venture commenced in1994 and ran successfully more than 10 years. In 2006, Saimo Technology acquired Thermo Ramsey's 50% share holding in the business to become a 100% family owned business. Over the last 5 years Saimo Technology has continued to grow and develop and is now the largest manufacturer of Bulk Sampling and Weighing equipment in Asia.
Since 2006, Saimo Technology has established offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia. The company now employs more than 700 people through its various operations and continues to maintain a strong engineering and development focus. In 2010, Saimo Technology designed, manufactured and delivered more than 80 Sampling Systems, 800+ belt Weighers, 400+ Coal Feeders and 500+ Weigh Feeders to customers around the world. Each of these systems was designed to suit specific customer needs and to recognized world standards.
Here in Australia, the company has sort to establish a strong sales and service presence with offices in Sydney (Head Office), Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. Each office is manned by a team of experienced professionals capable of assisting our customers with sales, design and technical enquiries.
