During AIMEX 2011 RYCO will launch and showcase their new “Mine Safe Connection System” CROCBITE. An innovative Australian first, CROCBITE is a cutting edge safe and secure connection system available in sizes from DN10 – DN75 with a maximum working pressure of 6,000 PSI (420 BAR).
The new CROCBITE system uses a segmented CROCTAIL that fully engages the circumference of the connector, ensuring maximum possible holding and delivering increased safety for personnel.
CROCBITE provides a 20% reduction in width and increases the bearing contact area by 200%, and is an ultra-slim, snag free connection system that is many times stronger than the standard DIN 20043 staple connector. Being contamination and corrosion resistant, CROCBITE is an ideal connection system for the arduous conditions of underground coal mining.
The CROCBITE range will be supported at AIMEX by RYCO’s extensive range of quality hose and fittings, including 5,100 PSI (350 BAR) JIC coupling and adaptor products.
